Over 45 additional institutions covered by new ACS read and publish agreements

Starting January 2025, an additional 46 institutions around the world are now covered by ACS read and publish agreements. These provide full reading access to ACS’ portfolio of essential chemistry titles, as well as supporting the open access publishing needs of affiliated authors.
New agreements include:

- University of Tuebingen, Germany

- Tampere University, Finland
- University of Turku, Finland
- VTT Technical Research Center of Finland
- National Ilan University, Taiwan
- National United University, Taiwan
- Japan Academic Library Group (8 institutions)
- National Institue for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan
- Seoul National University, Republic of Korea
- Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand
- Instituto SENAI de Inovação em Eletroquímica, Brazil
- Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile
- Iowa State University, USA
- North Carolina A&T State University, USA

2025 also sees the start of ACS’ second “read and green” agreement with the Elektron Consortium in Belgium, providing reading access and zero-embargo green open access support to five institutions.
