New ACS open access initiative for Primarily Undergraduate Institutions

New ACS-sponsored offer brings open access publishing to thousands of researchers
With the January 2023 launch of ACS Publications’ new program, corresponding authors at qualifying Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs) – institutions which do not offer graduate degrees in the sciences – can now publish open access in any ACS journal at no charge to them, and with no additional administrative overhead. PUIs that subscribe to all ACS journals are eligible to participate in the initiative for the duration of their subscription.
Over 100 PUIs have been automatically been enrolled in the program. If you’re based at an eligible PUI, or if you’re a librarian and would like to spread the word to your research community, you can find more details on the ACS Open Science site.
More information is also available at the ACS News Room.
